Conference 2011 : June 13-17
The TnSRO board members are proud to announce the 2011 TnSRO conference is going to be held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel! This a beautiful resort type facility and family oriented. Each room having it’s own balcony,and pillow-top sleigh beds! Enjoy fine dining, two swimming pools, and massage treatments. We are excited about the upcoming event! Early Registration
Early registration is highly stressed due to limited seating. Early registration fee for SRO’s is $250.00 and Administrators fee’s are $200.00 if registered before May 13, 2011. School Adminstrators will receive at least TASL credits and SRO’s will receive POST credit.
Requirements
SRO’s have new law requirements. They have to meet 40 hours of continuing school safety education. We expect our numbers to double this year. Every year all SRO’s shall participate in 16 hours of training specific to school policing that has been approved by the POST commission. The agenda is being prepared at this time. As soon as the agenda is confirmed, it will be posted. School adminstrators will receive at least TASL credits.

That $139.65 total, is that for the whole stay or just per night?
The other link to not work to ask questions. What qualifications must a person have in order to be a SRO? What if they have a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice?
